Melbourne School of Engineering Department of Infrastructure Engineering

Future students

When you study Infrastructure Engineering, you can expect to have an exciting career in one of these key fields:

Our courses are informed by the three disciplines — Geomatics, Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering — that together make up Infrastructure Engineering. Through our courses, you’ll learn about the underlying disciplines that make up Infrastructure and gain a broader industry-based degree.

This is reflected in our new Master of Engineering curriculum, which draws on the study of these disciplines giving you the bigger picture of infrastructure as well as essential industry experience across the five years. At the end, you’ll be part of something special — a Melbourne engineering graduate.

Undergraduate

The first step towards the professionally accredited Master of Engineering is an undergraduate major (or breadth sequence) in Engineering systems within the Bachelor of Science, Environments or Commerce.
